Implicit Fact Column

  • The Implicit fact column is added to a query when it contains columns from two or more dimension tables and no measures. The column is not visible in the results. It is used to specify a default join path between dimension tables when there are several possible alternatives or contexts.
  • The implicit fact column must be based on the same fact around which the presentation catalog has been built. For example, if the presentation catalog contains information from the Order star, the implicit fact column must be based on the Order/Order-Item fact.
For example, if the ROW_WID column in the fact table is the primary key of that table, then the implicit fact column is a Count (ROW_WID).

  1. JavaScript training helps learners build the skills needed to create interactive and dynamic websites. A well-structured training program covers the fundamentals of JavaScript, including variables, data types, operators, loops, functions, arrays, objects, and events. As learners progress, they gain hands-on experience with DOM manipulation, form validation, asynchronous programming, and modern ES6+ features, enabling them to develop responsive and user-friendly web applications.
