High level overview:
Step 1: List out the Users, Groups and Application Roles
Step 2: List out the authenticator you want to you
ex: Default weblogic LDAP server, Oracle Internet Directory or any Commercial directory server.
Step 3: If you decide on OID do the follwing: Configure OID as the Authentication Provider ,Credential Store and Policy Store Provider. Add users and groups in OID.
Step 4: Create New Roles and then assign Policies to Roles.
Step 5: Map Groups to Roles are per your requirement.
Step 6: Fine tune the permissions that Users and Groups have in the Oracle BI Presentation Catalog, use the Administration.
Step 7: Deploy your application for SSO.
Step 8:Deploy SSL if required by default SSL is turned Off.
